Lara Beach Antalya

Lara is a district in the city of Antalya and is famous for ‘ Lara Beach’ or ‘Lara Plajı’ .  Situated on the beautiful coastline of Turkey it is just a short 20 minutes transfer from Antalya airport itself. Lara beach, is just a short distance to the East of Antalya cliffs and the beach starts just past the Lower Düden Waterfall.

The ‘Dolmus’ in Turkey is simply a shared mode of transport that charges each individual passenger a set fare for the journey. These run from the centre of Antalya all the way along to Lara Beach at regular times throughout the day and you shouldn’t have long to wait should you miss one.

Facilities At Lara Beach

There are many facilities that you would expect to find at any major commercial tourist beach.  There are sunbeds and umbrellas for hire and a selection of refreshments
on sale.  The beach also has showers available should you wish to use them.

Nightlife In Lara Beach

Nightlife in Lara is centred mainly around the hotels and the small local bars that are situated close by.  Most of the hotels on the Beach at Lara are of high standard working on an all-inclusive basis offering their own entertainment. However, Lara’s close proximity to Antalya (12 klms away), means that if you are wanting a more lively night out, you can make your way to the city and party in some of Turkey’s finest night clubs til the early hours. Many of the hotels in Lara beach offer courtesy buses to and from Antalya.
